Consistent quality over time

This was my third purchase from Tamarindo Boards. I previously bought a Kids Paddle Board and a SUP Board Bag. This time I picked up a new Carbon Fiber Paddle. Their product quality has been consistently good across all my orders. The paddle feels light and sturdy, just as advertised. Shipping was faster this time compared to my first order a couple of years ago, which was a pleasant surprise. It's why I keep coming back – I know what to expect, and they usually deliver.

Good board, slow delivery

I ordered the All Around SUP a few weeks ago. The board itself is solid quality for the price, felt stable on the water and inflated easily with the included pump. Shipping took about 9 days to reach me in Arizona, which was a bit longer than I expected, especially since they offer free shipping on boards. The packaging was good, nothing was damaged. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping status, but it would be nice if the estimated delivery time was more accurate upfront. Overall, happy with the product, just factor in some extra time for delivery.

Nice new hoodie

Grabbed one of their Hoodies when I was buying a gift for my brother. It's super comfy, like, really soft inside. The size was spot on too. It showed up pretty fast, maybe 4 days after I ordered it. I just threw it in the wash, and it held up fine, no weird shrinking or anything. Just a solid, comfy hoodie. I'd probably get another one.

Great value for a first board

I was looking for my first inflatable paddle board and found Tamarindo Boards during a seasonal clearance. I got a really good deal on the Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board, which made it feel like a smart purchase. The price was competitive, especially with the discount I found on their site. It came with everything I needed to get started, so I didn't have to buy extra gear. For a budget-conscious shopper like me, the overall value for money was excellent. I was hesitant to spend a lot on my first board, but this felt like a worthwhile investment.

I'm looking at their boards but also saw some from ISLE. Anyone have experience comparing Tamarindo to ISLE, especially for an all-around SUP?

N Nina 1 month ago
I've only tried a Tamarindo, but my friend has an ISLE. Both are decent, I think Tamarindo feels a bit more stable for a beginner if that makes sense? But ISLE has some cool designs.

Tamarindo is usually a bit more affordable for similar features, from what I've seen. Both are good brands though, can't really go wrong. Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

Hey, thinking about grabbing one of their paddle boards. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Miami?

S Sophie F. 2 months ago
Mine got to Orlando in about 5 days, so Miami should be pretty quick too. They usually ship out pretty fast.

yeah I got a board from them last month, was like a week to get to South Carolina. Pretty standard shipping time.

Does anyone know if you can use the newsletter sign-up discount on a board that's already on sale? Or like, if there's a bundle deal, can I add another code?

C Carly Z. 2 months ago
Nah, usually their codes are for full-price stuff only. And you definitely can't stack them with bundle deals or clearance items, tried that before lol.

Most stores are like that, one discount at a time. The email signup is usually like 10% off, which is good for accessories but for a board, you might get more from a holiday sale if you wait.

So if I get a board and it's not quite what I expected, how easy are returns? Do I have to pay for shipping it back?

T Todd K. 1 month ago
Yeah returns were easy, did it last month for a paddle I ordered by mistake. Not sure about shipping costs for a full board, but for smaller stuff it was painless.

I think you might have to cover return shipping for boards, but their process itself is pretty straightforward. Just make sure to check their policy page, it's all laid out there.

Are the Tamarindo boards actually good quality? Or is it one of those brands that looks nice but falls apart after a few uses?

W Wendy B. 1 month ago
Nah, they're legit. I've had my inflatable SUP for almost two years and it's still going strong. Pretty durable, even with bumping into stuff sometimes.

My buddy has one, he uses it all the time. Seems well-made. I think it's a family-run business so they probably care about their reputation.
